A few years ago, the owner of a well‑established second‑generation family business came to us with a question that looked simple on the surface but carried profound consequences:

"Should I sell my company?"

It was a company in excellent shape: fully self‑funded, debt‑free, with no urgent investment needs, solid, profitable, and with owners far from retirement. A perfectly sellable company.

So… what was happening?

The issue had nothing to do with the numbers. It was accumulated exhaustion. The weight of daily operations.
The lack of time to think calmly and, above all, a loss of meaning.

There was also the emotional pressure created by expert buyers, who often take advantage of these fragile moments for their own interests.
